How To Add The Water In A Model Railway Pond

I have had a lot of people ask how they create the water in their model railway ponds, rivers and dams.

Important: After you have poured the liquid, you should let it find it's natural level. Don't try to spread the liquid with a knife, as this will spoil the surface finish and you will need to redo it.
